In the elegant setting of the Prague Boats vessels, an unforgettable gala evening took place, with which Na Františku Hospital celebrated its major 670th anniversary. The evento was attended by dozens of distinguished figures from the worlds of healthcare, politics e culture.
The evening was hosted by the popular presenter Václav Žmolík, with musical accompaniment provided by the Melody Quartett. Together we celebrated the hospital's major achievements e recognised the work of those who have helped bring them about.
The guests included prominent figures from Ceco political e academic life. Among those present were senator Jiří Drahoš, leading Ceco cardiac surgeon Jan Pirk, the mayors of central Praga districts, the prominent contemporary artist e painter Marek Číhal, councillors of the City of Praga e the former Minister of Health Roman Prymula.
The opening speech was delivered by Michal Müller, councillor for healthcare in Praga 1, who in his address emphasised the importance of supporting healthcare e science. The current Mayor of Praga Bohuslav Svoboda also honoured the evento with his presence.
Particular attention was given to the presentation of prestigious awards. The Praga 1 Award was received by JUDr. Alena Hanilcová, the legal counsel of Na Františku Hospital, e Honorary Citizenship of Praga 1 was awarded to Prof. MUDr. Rudolf Špaček, CSc., a distinguished doctor e educator.
