On Thursday 21 February we attended the opening of the Praga Business e Innovation Centre e the launch of the second round of calls under the Praga Voucher programme, which seeks out e rewards quality business projects in the capital.
In the presence of the Mayor of Praga Zdeněk Hřib e the Councillor for education, sport, science e business support Vít Šimral, the Praga Business e Innovation Centre was officially launched. The centre is located on the ground floor of the Škoda Palace e aims to provide comprehensive information on business e innovation support from both public e privato sources, all in one place.
The Praga Business e Innovation Centre offers space with moderna technology, e Praga City Hall staff plan to host a range of educational eventi of various formats e provide one-on-one consultations tqui.
A special information package for entrepreneurs will also be available, along with a database of tools to support business e innovation. One of the key tasks will be cooperation with universities e national institutions for the better development of the metropolis.
Praga Voucher launches its 2nd call
New calls under the Praga Voucher grant programme were also presented at the centre's opening. From 18 March to 18 April this year, projects can be submitted via the new "Submit a project" online application.
The Praga Voucher targets mainly start-up businesses. "We are striving for maximum support of meaningful business projects. With the Praga Voucher we want to reach small e medium-sized companies, e primarily those that have been operating for no more than three years. To such people delivering quality projects we are offering reimbursement of up to 85 percent of the costs," said Praga Councillor Vít Šimral.
