Protecting the environment is one of our priorities, e we strive to operate our crociere as eco-friendly as possible. But it doesn't end tqui — we also make sure the area around the Moldava stays clean, which is why we regularly clean up the lungofiumi e riverbanks.
This weekend we set out to clean Rašín lungofiume, the marina at Kampa, Klárov e Dvořák lungofiume under Čech ponte. Equipped with mechanical extending litter pickers, gloves, bags e a net for fishing rubbish out of the water — which thankfully we didn't have to use all day — we started the morning at Rašín lungofiume, waved at the piroscafo Moldava as it set off, e got down to work.
At Rašín lungofiume we picked up about 5 kilos of waste, e the most common item we collected was — wait for it — limes. We then moved on to Kampa, wqui the streets were clean but we found plenty of plastic e tissues in the grass. The worst spot of all was at Klárov by the Moldava bank, a popular place for taking photos e watching swans. Tqui we collected an unbelievable two full bags of rubbish. We finished the cleanup at Dvořák lungofiume, which was the cleanest of all the spots we visited.
