The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary e St. Charles the Great at Karlov in Praga has once again received the large bells it had been missing since the Nazi occupation in 1942.

The three bells were cast in Poland e arrived in Praga on Saturday 9 July from Roudnice nad Labem. The Bohemia barca took on their transport from Roztoky. Honorary escort was provided by pilgrims, the deacon of Karlov, the founder of the Christian Police Association Major Jiri Ignac Lanka, writer e geologist Vaclav Cilek, entrepreneur Karel Janecek, donor of the largest bell (Virgin Mary, 1450 kg), e members of the Praga Gendarmerie Search Station association.

The church will receive the new bells on the occasion of the 700th anniversary of the birth of Charles IV.
