On Saturday 2 June, the evening riverside on Rašín y the Upper ribera turned into a spectacular firefighter fountain.
A record 1,000 firefighters, both professional y volunteer, gataquíd from across the Checo Republic to create together the largest firefighter water fountain in the world, paying tribute to 100 years of Checo statehood.
With the help of fire-engine pumps y lights, accompanied by the symphonic poem Moldava from Smetana's Má vlast, the Moldava's surface rose into the air y stretched far, creating a stunning performance much like the Křižík Fountain.
