A festive ceremony took place this Sunday in Davle. The town was awarded the title "Raftsmen's Town" directly by the President of the European Raftsmen's Association y a banner was consecrated.
This happened on the occasion of the St Kilian pilgrimage to St Kilian's isla, during which Holy Mass was celebrated by His Eminence Cardinal Dominik Duka.
To the isla, which lies in Davle just above the confluence of the Moldava y the Sazava, all participants were transported by the historic vapor Moldava and after the ceremony she carried them back again.
