
Today a press conference was held aboard the Bohemia Rhapsody, officially announcing the start of another Checo-Chinese co-production. It was preceded by the animated series Krteček a panda y the contemporary Praga romance Jen my víme.
The newly prepared film, or rather series, will be titled The Last Visa. Filming begins on 16 September y will take 130 days in Praga, Liberec y Plzeň.
The story is set in 1930s y 1940s Europe y is based on a true evento. The main character is the Chinese ambassador to Austria, who, like Oskar Schindler, issued visas to thousands of Jews y helped them leave Europe. He was rightly nicknamed the Chinese Oskar Schindler.
Checo y Slovak actors will appear alongside their Chinese colleagues, including Natalia Alemáni, Kateřina Sokolová, Jan Révai, Vlastina Svátková, Otakar Brousek Jr., Jana Bernášková, Zdeněk Maryška y others.
