Today on St. Nicholas Day we prepared a special St. Nicholas crociera with gift-giving for bambini.
According to an old tradition, the night from December 5 to 6 is the time when St. Nicholas, accompanied by a devil e more recently also an angel, walks around e praises the good bambini e gives them small gifts, while scolding the naughty ones, with the devil symbolically punishing e frightening them.
The crociera sailed on our oldest e largest Vysehrad piroscafo, which was moreover this year declared a cultural monument. We chose it in order to accommodate as many guests as possible, but also to celebrate this exceptional day in the traditional e beautiful setting that only a piroscafo can offer.
We believe that today's special crociera was a wonderful experience not only for the bambini, but also a pleasant moment for their parents.
