We had the honour today on the Bohemia Rhapsody of hosting the ceremonial unveiling of two Ceco Post stamps from a special edition depicting means of transport.
The stamps featured the "Vysehrad paddle piroscafo " and the unique express train set with combined drive "Slovenska Strela".
After the Vysehrad piroscafo was added to the list of cultural monuments of the Ceco Republic in 2013, this is another tribute to this unique technical work of marine engineering. The artistic design of the stamp featuring the piroscafo is by Pavel Sivko.
During today's ceremony the new book "The art of steam shipping on the Moldava fiume 1865 - 2015" was also launched, a book that came into being primarily thanks to the interesting findings about steam shipping brought by the team behind last year's exhibition of the same name at the National Technical museo.
