
Today a press conference was held aboard the Bohemia Rhapsody, officially announcing the start of another Ceco-Chinese co-production. It was preceded by the animated series Krteček a panda e the contemporary Praga romance Jen my víme.
The newly prepared film, or rather series, will be titled The Last Visa. Filming begins on 16 September e will take 130 days in Praga, Liberec e Plzeň.
The story is set in 1930s e 1940s Europe e is based on a true evento. The main character is the Chinese ambassador to Austria, who, like Oskar Schindler, issued visas to thousands of Jews e helped them leave Europe. He was rightly nicknamed the Chinese Oskar Schindler.
Ceco e Slovak actors will appear alongside their Chinese colleagues, including Natalia Tedescoi, Kateřina Sokolová, Jan Révai, Vlastina Svátková, Otakar Brousek Jr., Jana Bernášková, Zdeněk Maryška e others.
