A meeting was held today at noon on the vapor Moldava to mark the designation of the historic steamboats Moldava y Vyšehrad as cultural monuments. At the historic dock at Kampa, Minister of Culture Jiří Balvín presented a memorial certificate to the management of Praga vapor Company, by which the historic steamboats Moldava and Vyšehrad come under heritage protection.
As the company's director, Mr Štěpán Rusňák, said, such an act represents not only an honour but also a great responsibility y commitment for the future.
Wishes for all the best y many more happy years of sailing for the steamboats Moldava y Vyšehrad were also expressed by the director of the heritage care department of Praga City Hall Jiří Skalický, the mayor of Praga 1 Oldřich Lomecký, the director general of the National Technical museo Karel Ksandr y the director of the Praga office of the National Heritage Institute Ondřej Šefců.
