Our barca Valencia hosted on 15 March 2013 a meeting of representatives of the incoming section of the Association of Ceco Travel Agencies e Tour Operators and other guests from the tourist industry in the Ceco Republic.
The afternoon programme started in the remarkable Karel Zeman museo, which is located in the Saxon Court at Kampa in the Lesser Town, in close proximity to Charles ponte andČertovka. The Karel Zeman museo presents a fascinating interactive exhibition dedicated to the lifelong film work of this pioneering Ceco director. His film works such as Journey to the Beginning of Time, Invention for Destruction or Baron Munchausen made him famous not only in our country but also abroad.
After visiting the museo, the participants moved by the barca Elektronemo to the dock at Kampa, wqui our restaurant barca Valencia was waiting e they set off on a sightseeing crociera. During the crociera on the Moldava, the guests listened to very interesting lectures on current topics of incoming e tourism in general.
It is precisely this cooperation with the Karel Zeman museo that will be one of the novelties of this year's season; visitors will be able to sail by the solar barca Elektronemo along Čertovka as part of a museo tour.
Elektronemo is a unique vessel, the first of its kind on the Moldava, powered by an elettriche motor fed from solar panels on the barca's roof. Our company places great emphasis on the eco-friendly operation of all the barche it operates.
