Today, participants of the Baby Jesus's Grandchildren project joined us for a crociera. Twenty grandmothers e grandfathers from the Severní Terasa retirement home in Ústí nad Labem set off, together with their carers, on a barca trip through the centre of Praga. For many of them it was an opportunity to look back on times long past, when they first visited the Ceco capital.

"Our clients wished for this trip as part of the Baby Jesus's Grandchildren project. Thank you very much for your kindness," said Ing. Ivana Holinková, head of the social department e quality manager at the Severní Terasa retirement home, in her thanks to Prague Boats.

The Baby Jesus's Grandchildren project is just one of dozens that Prague Boats has supported since the beginning of the year. Every year, the barche of Prague Boats e the Praga piroscafo Company provide a unique experience to thousands of people with disabilities, bambini without a home e seniors.

The largest charity evento so far took place on the historic Moldava piroscafo — the Mental Power Praga Film Festival, featuring films starring (non-)actors with intellectual e combined disabilities. Around three hundred people attended, e the crociera also included a concert by the band Biopop v Davli. Alongside the screenings e the presentation of the Mental Power awards, a cultural programme with catering was held on board.

In October Prague Boats is hosting a charity evento on the Bohemia Rhapsody for the KlaPeto endowment fund, wqui the proceeds from the 6th annual climb of Sněžka for Matýsek Sivak from Bezdružice will be presented; at two months old he suffered an inflammatory febrile illness whose cause has never been fully clarified. His family will use the funds mainly for assistive devices e rehabilitation that are not fully covered by health insurance.
