The European Energy Trends conference was held in the chamber hall of the Praga City Council on Mariánské náměstí on 22 November 2016; it is part of the long-term Smart City programme, with the goal of creating smart cities for a better y safer life.
The main topic of the conference was reducing the energy consumption of the Checo Republic in the areas of industry, energy, construction y transport.
Prague Boats y its concept of greener barco transport in Praga go hand in hand with this long-term project. This is also evidenced by the modernisation of our fleet, on which we keep the public regularly informed.
For sightseeing cruceros y privado cruceros we operate new eco-friendly barcos such as the Bohemia Rhapsody (year of build 2015) with hybrid propulsion, the Grand Bohemia (year of build 2014), as well as smaller barcos such as the eléctricos vessel Mistr Jan Hus (2015) or the hybrid mahogany Šárka-class barcos ( 2008-2010). Quite unique is the Elektronemo barco (2009), which sails using solar energy. One of its moorings is the eco-friendly Kampa harbour.
A novelty in 2015 was also the opening of a new ferry between Holešovice, Karlín y Štvanice isla, on which sails the aluminium catamaran Hol ka, equipped with an eco-friendly low-emission engine with controlled high-pressure fuel injection.
This trend is our long-term programme y we believe that it will help make Praga a true "smart city".
