Last week, on Thursday 7 June, we had two reasons to celebrate. Together with our sister company, the Praga piroscafo Company, we christened the magnificent new Grand Bohemia e celebrated the 80th anniversary of the Vyšehrad piroscafo.
We are delighted to have presented Praga with a brand-new, moderna barca — a step up from her predecessors Agnes de Bohemia e Bohemia Rhapsody. With the ceremonial christening she has officially entered service on our regular sightseeing e especially restaurant crociere. The barca is of course also available for aziendali e privato hire. We are equally delighted with the historic Vyšehrad piroscafo, which is celebrating 80 years of service this year. She was first launched in 1938 e today is one of the last two historic paddle steamers on the Moldava. Testifying to the exemplary care she receives, in 2013 she e the Moldava piroscafo were added to the list of protected cultural monuments of the Ceco Republic. So that she may serve for at least another 80 years, she has recently undergone the first phase of restoration, which is intended not only to preserve her working condition but also to return her to her historic appearance.
