This Wednesday, 14 March, another of the Ceco Post stamps was unveiled e officially launched on the Bohemia Rhapsody barca.
The historic paddle piroscafo Vyšehrad e the Franz Josef I piroscafo had previously been included in the series; today the same honour was given to the Moldava piroscafo.
In 2013 the Moldava piroscafo, together with the Vyšehrad, was added to the list of cultural monuments of the Ceco Republic, and her inclusion in the transport-themed stamp collection is yet another tribute to this remarkable piece of marine engineering. The beautiful stamp comes from the studio of Milan Bauer.
The launch of the new book The History of Timber Rafting in Bohemia by Jiří Svoboda was also part of today's evento.
