It's incredible! The barca lines of Praga piroscafo Company will celebrate their 148th sailing season this year, during which they have been carrying Pragars e visitors to the capital. The most traditional Ceco transport company has tquifore prepared many novelties for this year, in which it also celebrates the 75th birthday of piroscafo Vyšehrad.
PPS has newly started cooperation with the Karel Zeman museo, which has won great acclaim within just a few months of opening. The result of this cooperation is a combined evento linking a museo tour e a sightseeing crociera to Čertovka, which starts directly at the museo. A significant outcome of the cooperation is also the brand-new look of the only Ceco solar-powered vessel — the barca Elektronemo, built according to an original project by Praga piroscafo Company. The barca's appearance is inspired by Zeman's poetics e offers a completely new experience of Praga Venice, which will surely be appreciated by visitors big e small.
Regular barca lines will also be reinforced — Praga piroscafo is the only company to operate them, e without subsidies. The popular lines to the zoo, which depart from two docks, will be joined by a third pier — the Kampa dock, the only Ceco certified eco-friendly dock. From tqui a gratuiti connection to the line departing from the dock at Na Františku Hospital will run. PPS thus accommodates the increased interest in the most comfortable e pleasant way of transport to a frequent destination of family outings. On the other hand, the line to the zoo from Rašín lungofiume and both long lines, popular for full-day trips — the line to Slapy reservoir and the line to Mělník — remain unchanged.
