Poznej Vltavu returns: set sail with Prague Boats

On 28 September the all-day Poznej Vltavu festival turns the riverbanks and the water itself into a space for discovery and fun. Prague Boats are offering discounted cruises, a festival express boat and a programme aboard the steamboat Vyšehrad.

Poznej Vltavu returns: set sail with Prague Boats

On Monday 28 September 2026 Prague meets at the river once again. The second edition of the multi-genre festival Poznej Vltavu brings guided tours, workshops, talks and sporting activities, plus the chance to look inside places that normally stay closed to the public.

The festival follows a successful first edition that drew more than 10 000 people. This year the programme stretches from the new Dvorecký Bridge all the way to Podbaba, once again bringing together culture, education, ecology and active leisure right on the banks and the surface of the Vltava.

The river that connects Prague

Poznej Vltavu presents the river as a living public space and an important part of the city’s identity. The programme also includes the traditional paddling race Napříč Prahou přes tři jezy, giving visitors another chance to watch Prague from the water.

The organisers will keep adding to the full programme on the festival website. We also recommend following the Poznej Vltavu Facebook event.
