Boat trip for campers – cooperation with Prague 1 firefighters continues

A tradition that connects water, safety, and the joy of sailing – once again this year, we were pleased to send off a boat trip for young campers from the junior firefighters of Prague 1. A boat cruise has been a firm part of their summer program for many years, and we are glad to have been part of it again.

The boat Agnes de Bohemia took to the waters of the Vltava – a modern and quiet vessel with a capacity of up to 100 people, well known to Prague residents for its distinctive design and fully glass roof. Agnes de Bohemia is not only one of the fastest boats of its size (up to 20 km/h) but also very environmentally friendly – sailing almost silently and with minimal emissions.

Prague Boats and the volunteer firefighters of Prague 1 share a long-standing cooperation and a special connection to the Vltava River. The Prague 1 district, which spans both banks of the river, plays a key role in the flood protection of the historic city center. The volunteer firefighters, whose activities began after the 2002 floods, now actively help ensure safety in the most sensitive locations, such as Žofín and Kampa.

Thank you for your trust – we look forward to more voyages together!
