Aboard our boats, another interesting event took place — Camp Tour: Down the Vltava to the Troja basin — which captivated all participants with its in-depth insight into the history and urban development of Prague. The cruise was hosted by the well-known Jiří Jaroš, who, together with experts from the Prague Institute of Planning and Development (IPR), spoke engagingly about the city's flood protection, major events such as the floods of 1997 and 2002, and key projects along the river.

The cruise offered not only fascinating insights into the past, but also a glimpse of the future. Participants learned about the upcoming plans for the development of the Vltava banks and other projects that will help connect the city even more closely with the river.

The event provided a unique opportunity to see Prague from the perspective of the Vltava and to discover how the river has been shaping the face of the city for centuries. The atmosphere of the cruise was also captured in photographs, which you can browse in our gallery.
