The steamboat Vltava celebrated 80 years
For the 155th anniversary of the founding of the Prague Steamboat Company, which along with the 80th anniversary of the steamboat Vltava entering service fell on Wednesday 26 August 2020, we prepared a surprise for you. The motor boat Odra on the route to Prague Zoo was replaced for the day by the steamboat Vltava itself, which on this celebratory occasion also sailed to Libeň Harbour, where she was built. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the cruise, and the journey was accompanied by a captivating commentary on the history of the Prague Steamboat Company and the story of Prague's waterway.
