QUEENIE, one of the most respected Queen tribute bands in the world, known for its precise and authentic take on Queen's songs, fittingly chose the Bohemia Rhapsody boat today to announce important news at a press conference. This wasn't the first time we've seen Queenie here — the band has played several concerts on Bohemia Rhapsody before.
The biggest surprise was the announcement that Queenie, with their Queen Relived show, have signed a tour of more than 10 concerts in Asia, specifically in South Korea. They'll perform in leading Korean venues, becoming the first international band to take the stage alongside the world's elite performers there. There was also news about home-soil concerts, especially the planned shows at Prague's O2 arena. The whole event had a joyful spirit; the band members radiated enthusiasm but also great humility and gratitude towards the home audience, without whom — in their own words — they wouldn't be able to take on such a journey.
