The Vltava has just had its coldest weekend of the entire winter. The record temperature of -42.2 °C from 1929 in southern Bohemia remained unbeaten, but only just. In Prague on the Vltava, ice floes were even forming and people were ice skating and playing hockey on the side branches of the river.
However, those who set off on a cruise through Prague did not mind at all. On the contrary - what could be better than having a hot tea or chocolate in front of you and enjoying the beauty of Prague from a pleasantly heated boat.
