An entirely new exhibition on the theme of the Vltava and Podskali from the archives of the Vltavan association is open in Prague's Vyton building from 23 July 2014 to 26 April 2015.
Through period photographs, paintings and everyday objects visitors will get an idea not only of the activities of the association but also of what Podskali and the surroundings of the Vltava used to look like. There is also a model of a raft and an 8 m wide painting of Podskali.
You can combine your visit to the exhibition with one of our two-hour cruises, which will introduce you to the banks of the Vltava from Cech Bridge to Vysehrad Rock. You will also see the now-vanished Podskali, the area between Jirasek and Railway Bridge, and complete your picture of the place then and now.
