This Friday, 12 June 2015, on board the historic Vltava steamer, a meeting of the Prime Ministers of Czechia, Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt took place.
During the cruise from Děčín to Bad Schandau, Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka discussed with Saxony Minister-President Stanislaw Tillich and Saxony-Anhalt Minister-President Reiner Haseloff a wide range of Czech-Saxon cross-border cooperation issues.
Among other things, they sought common solutions on the high-speed rail project between Prague and Dresden, education, opportunities for cooperation in science and research, and last but not least, the question of the Elbe's navigability, the resolution of which is important for all shipping companies using the Elbe.
