Open House Prague yesterday put on a unique experience in the form of a sightseeing cruise on the last of the two historic steamships named after Prague's main river, the Vltava.
Thanks to commentary by architect Petr Kučera, those on board learned a great deal of fascinating information about the relationship between the city and the water, the development of Prague's embankments and its bridges.
