This year, instead of the traditional parade of tens of thousands of people through Prague's streets, our boats Bella Bohemia and Lužnice set sail on the Vltava just before the close of the Prague Pride festival, hosting festival-goers with a rich programme of music and dance.
The weather was on the festival's side this year too — temperatures climbed past thirty degrees, so the traditional flags were joined by rainbow fans. The boats' open spaces were a treat, with people enjoying the beauty of Prague especially from the upper decks. The cruise through the centre of Prague turned out to be a wonderful and unconventional way to enjoy the closing Pride party and wrap up this year's edition.
