On Tuesday 10 October, another in our series of regular discussion breakfasts was held on the Bohemia Rhapsody boat. This time the main topic was GDPR (the General Data Protection Regulation) and how this new EU legislation will affect tourism, given that it will apply to anyone who collects and processes personal data and will bring with it significant changes.
The discussion breakfast was attended by consultants from PwC, lawyers, representatives of global reservation systems, suppliers of systems for hotels, travel agencies and agents, and other experts. We trust that it brought useful information to the representatives of hotels, travel agencies and agents who gathered for breakfast on board.
