Yesterday it had been 100 years since one of the greatest marine tragedies occured when the “unsinkable” luxury cruise liner, the Titanic, hit an iceberg and sank. The Revival of the Titanic company organized a fun and educational memorial event which was not only for the hardened fans of the Titanic, but also for the wider public. The event took place on a river cruise on a new boat in the Prague Boats company fleet.
During the memorial the visitors could listen to very interesting lectures about the cruise liner itself, causes of the collision with the iceberg and also about the current examining of the wreck. The atmosphere was perfectly completed by live music of the group Brassband as well as many thematic items all around the boat.
Our long-term goal is to build a modern and wholly ecological fleet. This trend continues this year...
Open House Prague hosted a truly unique event in the form of a cruise on the last of the two historical steamboats, the Vltava.
The Vltava steamboat became one of the nineteen reading places within the literary happening Night of Literature 2019.
