New electric boat Marie d' Bohemia
Ecology matters. This motto has been with us for a few years now and is certainly not just a phrase. We have got rid of single-use plastics, we plant trees, we improve the city's microclimate with our green pontoon, we clean up the area around, on our cruises we offer vegetarian and vegan meals and we compost all our leftovers to avoid waste.
We also constantly upgrade our fleet to be as environmentally friendly as possible. So in July this year, Prague Boats' eco-friendly fleet grew by a second all-electric boat.
The boat was named Marie d'Bohemia after her ecological predecessors Bella Bohemia, Grand Bohemia, Bohemia Rhapsody a Agnes de Bohemia.
The upper open deck and the glass walls of the boat make her the perfect boat for sightseeing cruises. However, in addition to regular cruises, she is also suitable for private cruises for up to 250 people.
Marie d' Bohemia, like all our eco-friendly boats, comes from the German shipyard Bolle in Derben. All of them are united not only by their modern design, but also by their extremely quiet and emission-free operation. Like the second youngest ship, Bella Bohemia, it is completely powered by electricity, although Marie has twice the battery capacity.
The new Marie d' Bohemia can used for sightseeing cruises all year round and is equipped with heating and air conditioning.
