The popular seminar, organised by C.O.T. media in cooperation with Prague Boats, was once again hosted by the Bohemia Rhapsody on Wednesday April 5. On the boat, moored at the dock at Cech Bridge, representatives of various entities from the tourism sector gathered, but mainly representatives of the Ministry for Regional Development, the National Tourism Board and KPMG. This time the subject of discussion was Categorisation of destination management organisations.
Just for clarification: it is currently clear that the Czech Republic will not soon have a law that would regulate the management and financing of tourism. However, the current chaos in the area of destination management can still be brought into order by precisely this categorisation and certification of destination management organisations. It is being prepared by the entities mentioned above, which took part in this very discussion meeting with tourism entrepreneurs.
