The Transformation of the Vltava River and Podskalí

In the building at Prague's Výtoň from 23 July 2014 to 26 April 2015 opened a brand new exhibition with the theme of the Vltava River and Podskalí from the archives of the Guild Vltavan.

Thanks to the contemporary photographs, paintings and objects of daily use, visitors can get an idea not only about the activities of the association but also about the earlier appearance of the Podskalí region and the Vltava River. There is also a model of a raft and an 8 meter wide painting of Podskalí.

You can combine the visit to the exhibition one of our two-hour cruises that will introduce you to the banks of the Vltava River from Čechův Bridge to the Vyšehrad rock. This way you will see the vanished Podskalí, an area between Jirásek Bridge and the Railway Bridge, so that you can have an idea about the place then and now.
