The Bohemia Rhapsody hosted an unconventional sporting event — a golf exhibition in which players chipped balls straight from the boat onto a pontoon next to Charles Bridge.
The 6th edition of the D+D Czech Masters golf tournament is coming to Prague. This year's line-up features international and Czech stars including Lee Westwood, Ernie Els and Padraig Harrington.
The players and several dozen journalists enjoyed not only the shots but also panoramic views of Prague Castle, Kampa Island and Charles Bridge during the cruise on the Vltava. There was no shortage of light refreshments from our catering either. The event was hosted by Pavel Poulíček.
PRAGUE BOATS is a sports fan, which is why on board the Grand Bohemia we recently held a press conference with Czech mixed martial arts fighter Lucie Pudilová. The modern glass-roofed Grand Bohemia also hosted the Czech and US tennis teams, led by Petra Kvitová, at the opening dinner of the Fed Cup 2018. The Bohemia Rhapsody itself was once turned into a floating tennis court on which Roger Federer and Tomáš Berdych played to promote the inaugural Laver Cup in 2017.
