On the public holiday of May 1, our historic steamboat Vltava set off on one of the first long cruises of this season - the cruise to Nelahozeves.
The steamboat departed in the morning from Rasin Embankment downstream the Vltava. The cruise to the birthplace of Antonin Dvorak was enlivened by passing through several locks, the opportunity to learn about the operation of the steam engine, as well as live music and refreshments on board. A magician's performance entertained the children during the cruise.
In Nelahozeves, where the steamboat docked, there followed a break to tour the Renaissance chateau and its surroundings. This was followed by the cruise back and the docking of the steamboat Vltava at the boat dock at Cech Bridge.
