It's incredible! The boat lines of Prague Steamboat Company will celebrate their 148th sailing season this year, during which they have been carrying Praguers and visitors to the capital. The most traditional Czech transport company has therefore prepared many novelties for this year, in which it also celebrates the 75th birthday of steamboat Vyšehrad.

PPS has newly started cooperation with the Karel Zeman Museum, which has won great acclaim within just a few months of opening. The result of this cooperation is a combined event linking a museum tour and a sightseeing cruise to Čertovka, which starts directly at the museum. A significant outcome of the cooperation is also the brand-new look of the only Czech solar-powered vessel — the boat Elektronemo, built according to an original project by Prague Steamboat Company. The boat's appearance is inspired by Zeman's poetics and offers a completely new experience of Prague Venice, which will surely be appreciated by visitors big and small.

Regular boat lines will also be reinforced — Prague Steamboat is the only company to operate them, and without subsidies. The popular lines to the zoo, which depart from two docks, will be joined by a third pier — the Kampa dock, the only Czech certified eco-friendly dock. From there a free connection to the line departing from the dock at Na Františku Hospital will run. PPS thus accommodates the increased interest in the most comfortable and pleasant way of transport to a frequent destination of family outings. On the other hand, the line to the zoo from Rašín embankment and both long lines, popular for full-day trips — the line to Slapy reservoir and the line to Mělník — remain unchanged.
