Prague is finally enjoying sunny and beautiful weather, the last traces of the floods are slowly but surely disappearing and the Vltava banks are once again an attractive place that attracts tourists. You may wonder what this year's tourist season will look like. Will it be affected in any way by the negative image of the floods in Prague that appeared in the media some time ago?
Just for interest, statistics from last year show that 5,397,531 tourists visited Prague, which is a record by long-term standards. Prague thus improved by 6.5% year-on-year. Prague is even the 6th most visited city in Europe. And the number of foreign as well as domestic visitors increased. Unfortunately, another statistic shows that although the number of tourists is growing, they spend only half of what they spend in other European countries. The cause is poor infrastructure and a lack of quality services such as shops, restaurants or experience activities.
That is why we are also striving to improve and expand our services and regularly come up with novelties in our cruises and the greening of boat transport on the Vltava, both through regular maintenance of boats and steamboats and by expanding the fleet with eco-friendly boats such as Elektronemo or Šárka.
This year, our most popular ones include, for example, dinner cruise, because warm evenings literally invite you to it and a cruise on the Vltava is not only a romantic but also a culinary experience. During the evening cruise called Sweet Prague an A la Carte menu is served, which will satisfy even the most demanding gourmets.
